HOORAY!!!

WARNING! THIS POST IS COMPLETELY RANDOM!!!

I had a long day babysitting yesterday...I didn't get there til 12 but I ended up staying until 7PM!

Zack's aunt, uncle, and three young cousins are in town from North Carolina so we had a family dinner at his house last night. Needless to say I was late! We enjoyed the kiddos a lot! They will be headed out Wednesday because they have plans at church.

On another note, I have been running around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to get my cable, internet, and power set up when we move in. I know, I have two weeks before move-in but I wanted to make sure they have all of my information and I know EXACTLY what money is due when we move in. Between being on hold for 20 minutes at a time and waiting three hours for a call back about my whether or not we could use their services in my apartment complex I got the most exciting news EVER!!!! They ran my FIRST EVER credit check and I, SUZI MASTRARIO, HAVE CREDIT!!! Great credit at that! I was super excited because 1) I did it myself! 2)I don't have to pay all of those CRAZY deposits! 3) I DID IT MYSELF. I really didn't think I had credit. I mean, I got a credit card last year and make SMALL purchases on it every now and then. I put like maybe $35 for gas on it here and there and then I pay it straight from my checking account but I didn't think $300 or so would be enough to establish credit. Let alone GREAT credit. So that's my awesome news. I feel like a responsible adult with my utilities in MY NAME rather than my parents! :) Now to just get a job to pay them!

If any of you reading know of a job opening in Valdosta HOOK ME UP!

Upgrade

I have had the HTC Touch Pro since we got our cell phones last year(hallelujah, for the one year contract!) and it’s been HORRIBLE. I am currently on number 7. I had SEVEN in FOUR months. Luckily, in November they gave me a brand new phone in store after fussing to them so much. What’s been wrong with them you ask? Two wouldn’t make/recieve calls, one would reset itself, one the touch screen stopped working, the other 2 the physical keyboard stopped working. Sounds fun, huh? But I must say, since I got this phone in November I have only had minor problems(sometimes getting very little service when my Mama or sister have great service, etc).

Alltel's Touch Pro

We were eligible for a new cell phone upgrade before we went to the beach and I am itching for this new beauty.

Do any of you have a Blackberry Curve 8530 with Alltel? If not, do you have an Alltel phone you really like and would recommend?

My crazy life

As you know, Saturday we had a yard sale cookout at my parent's house. I never managed to snag any pictures from anyone but my sister wrote a great blog about it here complete with pictures galore!

Since then I have been fighting what I believe to be a virus. I started feeling nauseated Saturday night and got better until last night. I am a BABY when it comes to being sick. I want someone with me if I am sick. Last night I threw up and my sweet little sister, Sami, came in the bathroom and got me a cold, wet rag and sat with me for a little bit. Is that not the sweetest thing? I took some ibuprofen for my headache and grabbed a trash can and got in my bed.

I woke up this morning with what felt like the WORST hangover ever. I had a major headache and my stomach was still upset. I managed to get up, showered, and out the door to keep my kids. The kids usually sleep pretty late during the summer so when I get there at 8 I usually head to the guest bedroom or the couch and take a short nap until they wake up and are ready for breakfast. This morning I tossed and turned and eventually just got up to watch TV. They finally woke up in time for lunch and I fixed them some lunch and laid back down. Just the thought of food made me sick to my stomach, not to mention the smell.

By this afternoon, I was feeling a little bit better. Still a little upset stomach, but nothing like this morning.

After work, I came home and sat around for a little bit and am now feeling 100% better.

To make matters worse, Zack has the same symptoms, so he is sick too. Bless his heart. Hopefully, he will be better soon!

Welcome to my CRAZY life!

I am so excited to get to work at the daycare FOUR days this week. Tammy, the Assistant Director of the daycare and teacher of the 4+ children, is out of town on a much needed and MUCH deserved vacation to North Georgia and I get to fill in! I hope she enjoys her break to North Georgia with her family!

Another surprise date

So, Z surprised me again with a special date night. He picked me up from my house after work and whisked me away to Macon! Unfortunately, Macon is almost an hour and half drive so after we went to Academy Sports(to get skeet and shotgun shells for our skeet shooting events tomorrow at our cookout. More about that later) we only got to visit the mall for about an hour. We did get to peruse a few stores and finally were off to find something we could sink our teeth into.

He took me here….

It was all YUMMMM

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So I may or may not have mentioned last month’s yard sale. If not, I’ll recap. My older sister, my Bubb(brother-in-law), and I cleaned out our parents garage last month and got everything together for a huge yard sale. We decided proceeds would go to buying food for a HUGE cookout. This weekend is our cookout and we are sure to have a blast complete with a skeet shoot(sort of a tradition). We go out in my back yard and shoot whatever we want. The boys like to show off their mad skills and Z placed 2nd in the nation on Georgia’s 4-H Shooting Sports Team of four members! I will be sure to snag some pictures to show off tomorrow!

Have a happy weekend!

Headed home.

Daddy woke up at the crack of dawn this morning ready to go. See, I told you he's not much for the beach! I didn't get up until around 1030AM because when we talked about what time we were leaving he said around lunch time! He and I headed back home early because we have to work this week. Mama and Sami are staying in Daytona until Friday!

We finally made it out, it took some prodding to get me going, around 1140. I talked him into stopping by Starbucks as we were headed out. I introduced him to the Caramel Frappaccino yesterday and he's HOOKED! He loves it!

We took back roads home and saw all the beauty North Florida and South Georgia has to offer. We only took THREE pee breaks! lol.

On our third and final break, we stopped in Enigma, GA which is less than an hour and half from home we pulled into one of TWO convienence stores around and as we pulled in Daddy said there's a cop. I turned around and there were blue lights behind us. I couldn't figure why we would get pulled over. We weren't speeding. Daddy didn't go over 70 the entire ride from Daytona(the speed limit was 65 most of the way). He told me to go in and I did. When I came out the officer was holding my Daddy's drivers license and registration. This can't be good!

I got in the truck and didn't say a word, just listened. The officer was talking to daddy about how he passed us in the road and clocked us going *78* in a 55. WHAT THE HECK? I told you earlier, Daddy didn't exceed 70MPH the WHOLE TIME! He had his cruise on. My Daddy is precious as can be. He is the building inspector for Turner County and has this super awesome badge saying so in his wallet. That thing is LEGIT! He showed the officer his badge and told him that he abides the law and has not had a ticket or even been pulled over in 20 years and that he works with the police, firefighters, and EMTs back home and tries to obey the law. The officer told him he would leave it up to Daddy to decide what the officer should do. SERIOUSLY?? WHO WOULD TELL YOU THEY WANTED TO GET A TICKET???? Long story short, he gave Daddy a verbal warning and told him get his speedometer checked out. So we headed on home from there as Daddy replayed the situation over and over to me! lol

Daytona: Day 3 ((A day late!))

We woke up this morning and went to the beach for about an two hours or so. After having enough sand in our crack for our liking we headed back up to the pool and tried to lay out there. It was WAYYYY too hot so we trucked our way back up to the condo and took a long, needed nap. When we woke up around 4 Daddy had just arrived back at the condo from his pawn shop adventures. Daddy has never been a fan of water. I don't think he has owned a swim suit as long as I have been alive. But he SURE loves Daytona. He can probably tell you where EVERY car dealer, pawn shop, and good eating place is in a 30 mile radius!

We ate Popeyes(HOORAY! NO ITALIAN!) for supper. This was a treat as the one that was close to us closed down a few years back! We love it! After supper he drove us around the Ponce Inlet, New Smyrna Beach, and Daytona Beach Shores just to ride and then we headed back to the condo where we watched fireworks! ((pictures to come later, they are on Mama's computer!))

Hope everyone enjoyed their Fourth!
