Day 18: Your Wedding/ future wedding ideas

Well this is obviously my future, like WAYYY future ideas. We can’t even begin to think

about a wedding at least until I finish college(BTW I’m over halfway through)

and even after I graduate there is no need in rushing because Zack has at least a year after

me before he graduates. Wow, now that all of that is explained

I.CANNOT.WAIT.TO.GET.MARRIED!

Here are my ideas.

Two words: ZEBRA and PINK

Of course I think I’ll need a bigger cake for all of my crazy family! :)

Not sure if I am going to want to do a formal dinner or just finger foods either I just like

the table arrangement and the place cards are presh!!

Super cute Save-The-Date cards in a zebra envelope!

For bridesmaids I am thinking something like one of these would be super cute

I have a tiny idea of what I would like for my dress but nothing about this is set in

stone. Especially being as I haven’t received a ring yet! :) But
I am LOVING the strapless fru-fru dresses. (I am pretty sure

Sarah just gagged! Love you sis!)

AND LASTLY…maybe one of these for the honeymoon!

Bahahahaha I kid. or do I? :)

P.S. I think I had the most fun with this post out

of all 17 days before!

Day 17: An art piece

I would say this would work! This is a 3-D puzzle that Zack’s, Papa Kenneth put together. A few months ago while on a scavenger hunt

we took our picture with it.

Update on interview!

So I made it through the interview. The guy that interviewed me ended up being the wrong guy. I answered the man’s questions obviously really well because he said he would like to hire me as a manager! After the interview he told me he works in the TOOL department and must have gotten my file by accident. But he did say that he would hire me ON THE SPOT if he was in charge of hiring cashiers. WOW!! Super excited!

Here’s the full story of how I think that came about. When interviewing online I was looking at other jobs and their requirements and must have clicked on the wrong job to apply for. I ended up applying for a tool sales position. Okay, I am the girl that calls her Daddy for EVERYTHING car, appliance, etc. related. I don’t know the first thing about tools.

So anyways, after I answered all of his questions, which took an hour, he told me he was going to try to get me in for another interview with the woman who is in charge of hiring cashiers. So he sent me to the Human Resources Department to sit for another 15 minutes while he got in touch with the woman who was supposed to interview me in the first place. It turned out that she didn’t have time to interview me today and the earliest time she could fit me in is next Thursday at 2PM. He said he told her that I was a great candidate for the position and he would hire me(isn’t he the best!) if he were her. He did say however that the only thing that would make her doubt that I would be good for the position is the fact that I have NO RETAIL EXPERIENCE but that my bubbly personality and outgoingness(is that a word?) would probably compensate for that! Seriously though, how much retail experience does it take to be a CASHIER???

Overall, I think the interview went EXTREMELY well. So I am just going to keep my fingers crossed for next week and pray for the best!

Maybe shortly I’ll be doing this every weekend.

EEK!

So at two o’clock this afternoon I have my FIRST EVER job interview. I am super excited yet super nervous! I am very outgoing and am sure I am going to knock the socks off of my interviewer but yet am not sure what to expect! I have been looking for a job in Valdosta for the past two years I have lived here. I applied ANY and EVERYWHERE! ((Even Home Depot and Tractor Supply!))

I have never had to interview before because I’ve basically known all of my employees on a personal level, perks of a small town! Here no one knows me!

I have done everything I can think of to take my mind off of it but can’t. I tried to take a short nap. Unsuccessful. Watch TV….nope! Geez. I just want to get it over with!

I have removed the lint from my black khakis and changed shirts umpteen times only to settle on the first one I put on!

I hope to have a good update for you this afternoon when I get out. I will rush home to let you know how it goes.

BREATHE SUZI! Whew!

Day 16: A song that makes you sad

I’ll Be Missing You by Puff Daddy and Faith Evans

Everytime I hear this song it reminds me of my friend, Staci, who

passed away in a car wreck our Junior year of high school.

In loving memory of Staci LeAna Barnard

Day 13: A fictional book

For my Emergent Literacy class we have to read 5 children books a

week and do a review of them and come up with 2 GPS(Georgia Performance

Standards) and then plan a lesson using those standards. I read 5 fictional books tonight for that class

Day 12: Something you are OCD about.

It drives me CRAZY when people leave the toilet seat up
